A banana split for breakfast! What a marvelous idea! Of course, Breakfast Banana Split makes some healthy substitutions to ensure you start the day with plenty of positive energy! Crunchy granola and plenty of fresh, juicy berries decorate a mound of creamy, tangy vanilla yogurt and, of course, a split tropical banana! It's the lovely joy of an ice cream sundae with the protein punch of a nourishing breakfast! This Breakfast Banana Split will make you grateful you don't have to split it with anyone!
Ingredients
- 1 banana, split lengthwise
- 1 cup vanilla yogurt
- honey, to taste
- 4 tablespoons granola, store-bought or homemade
- 1/4 cup blueberries
- 1/4 cup strawberries, chopped
Directions
Step 1 -In a long, narrow serving dish, add the banana slices.
Step 2 -Scoop the yogurt into the middle of the banana slices.
Step 3 -Drizzle with the honey.
Step 4 -Top with the granola, the blueberries, and the strawberries.
Step 5 -Serve immediately.
