Directions
Step 1 -Preheat the oven to 425 degrees F.
Step 2 -Spray a 2-1/2- to 3-quart casserole dish with cooking spray and set aside.

Step 6 -Add the flour to the vegetable mixture and stir until the vegetables are covered, for about 1 minute.
Step 7 -Reduce the heat to medium and gradually stir in the chicken broth mixture.
Step 8 -Continue cooking the filling over medium heat, stirring regularly, until thick and bubbly, about 5-6 minutes. Make sure the filling does not boil.

Step 10 -Add the cooked chicken and frozen peas to the filling.
Step 11 -Transfer the filling to the prepared casserole dish.
Step 12 -Cover the casserole dish with foil and bake until the filling is warm throughout, for about 10-15 minutes.

Step 14 -Take the filling out of the oven and remove the foil cover.
Step 15 -Stir the filling.
Step 16 -Use a large scoop or spoon to drop about 1/4 cup of the biscuit dough at a time onto the filling. There should be about 8 biscuits on top of the filling.
Step 17 -Return the dish to the oven and bake, uncovered, until the biscuits are golden brown and a toothpick inserted into the biscuit comes out clean, about 12 minutes.
Step 18 -Stir together 2 tablespoons melted butter and 1/8 teaspoon garlic powder.
Step 19 -Pull the dish out of the oven and brush the butter mixture over the biscuits.
Step 20 -Serve hot.
