- fresh herbs, of your choice, to taste, chopped, for garnish
Directions
Step 1 -Preheat the oven to 375 degrees F.
Step 2 -Lightly grease a rimmed baking sheet.
Step 3 -With the rolls still attached, use a serrated knife to cut the whole Hawaiian sweet roll package in half horizontally, then transfer the bottom half onto the prepared baking sheet.
Step 4 -Evenly layer the ham slices and the cheese slices on the bottom half of the rolls.
Step 5 -In a small bowl, add 3 tablespoons of the softened butter, the Dijon mustard, the relish, the salt, and the pepper and stir to combine.
Step 6 -Evenly spread the butter mixture on the cut-side of the top half of the rolls, then return it over the cheese layer, cut-side down to close the sliders.
Step 7 -Evenly brush the tops of the sliders with the remaining melted butter, then evenly sprinkle with the poppy seeds.
Step 8 -Bake the sliders until they are golden-brown and toasted, about 15-18 minutes.
Step 9 -Transfer the baking sheet to a wire rack and let them stand, about 5 minutes.
Step 10 -Serve the sliders garnished with the herbs.
