  • 1 cup dried Italian breadcrumbs, plus more as needed
  • salt, to taste
  • pepper, to taste
  • creole seasoning, to taste
  • 1/4 cup parmesan cheese
  • 2 tilapia fillets
  • 1/2 cup butter, melted, plus more as needed
  • 1 lemons, juiced, plus more as needed

Directions

Step 1 -Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F.

Step 2 -Grease a baking dish large enough to hold all the filets without overlap.

Step 3 -Mix the breadcrumbs, salt, pepper, creole seasoning, and parmesan cheese on a plate.

Step 4 -Dip the tilapia filets in the melted butter.

Step 5 -Dredge the butter-coated filets in the bread crumb mixture.

Step 6 -Place the bread crumb coated filet in the prepared baking dish

Step 7 -Pour any leftover melted butter over the filets.

Step 8 -Drizzle the filets with the lemon juice.

Step 9 -Cover the baking dish with foil.
