Baked-to-Perfection Chicken is no muss, no fuss, and no worries! This is a simple and delicious way to make juicy, tender, flavorful chicken with very minimal work. Coat the chicken in olive oil and some aromatic seasonings, then bake, and... that's it! It really is a breeze, and it's the perfect weekend solution to dinnertime dilemmas! Baked-to-Perfection Chicken is just perfect!
Ingredients
- 2 tablespoons olive oil, plus more, to taste, for greasing the sheet pan
- 4 chicken breasts, boneless and skinless
- 1 teaspoon garlic salt with parsley flakes
- 1/2 teaspoon pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon Italian seasoning
Directions
Step 1 -Preheat the oven to 450 degrees F.
Step 2 -Grease a sheet pan with the extra oil or line it with aluminum foil.
Step 3 -In a large bowl, add the chicken breasts.
Step 4 -Drizzle the chicken breasts with the remaining 2 tablespoons of olive oil.
Step 5 -Sprinkle the chicken breasts with the garlic salt, the pepper, and the Italian seasoning.
Step 6 -Place the chicken onto the prepared sheet pan.
Step 7 -Bake the chicken until the juices run clear and a thermometer inserted into the center of the chicken reads at least 165 degrees F, about 16-20 minutes.
Step 8 -Adjust the oven to the broil setting and broil the chicken until the skin reaches the preferred level of browning, about 2-3 minutes.
Step 9 -Allow the chicken to cool slightly before cutting it into slices or cubes.
Step 10 -Serve.
