Ingredients

  • flour, to taste, for dusting a work surface
  • 1 sheet frozen puff pastry, thawed, according to the package directions
  • 4 ounces Brie cheese, chilled and cut into 24 pieces
  • 1 cup cranberry sauce

Directions

Step 1 -Preheat the oven to 400 degrees F.

Step 2 -Generously coat a 24-cup mini muffin tin with nonstick cooking spray.

Step 3 -Using the extra flour, lightly dust a work surface. Then, place the puff pastry on the floured surface and use a rolling pin to roll it into a 10x15-inch rectangle.

Step 4 -Use a sharp knife or pizza wheel to cut the puff pastry dough rectangle into 24 2-1/2-inch squares, 4 rows of 6 squares.

Step 5 -Carefully add 1 of the puff pastry squares into each of the prepared muffin cups.

Step 6 -Add 1 piece of the Brie cheese to each cup and top each with 2 teaspoons of the cranberry sauce.

Step 7 -Tightly cover the muffin tin with plastic wrap and refrigerate, about 15 minutes.

Step 8 -Discard the plastic wrap from the muffin tin and bake until the cheese has melted and the pastry is golden, about 16-18 minutes.

Step 9 -Transfer the bites to a wire rack and let them cool in the muffin tin, about 10 minutes.

Step 10 -Serve.
