  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 (8-ounce) package cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup bacon crumbles, cooked and crumbled, plus more, to taste, for garnish
  • 1/2 cup green onions, chopped, plus more, to taste, for garnish
  • 1 cup cheddar cheese, shredded
  • For the pork chops:
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
  • 2 1/2 pounds pork chops, boneless
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon granulated garlic

Directions

Step 1 -Preheat the oven to 425 degrees F.

Step 2 -In a medium bowl, mix the mayonnaise, the cream cheese, 1/2 cup of the bacon crumbles, 1/2 cup of the green onions, and 1/2 of the cheddar cheese, until fully combined. Set it aside.

Step 3 -Heat the oil in a large, oven-safe skillet over medium-high heat.

Step 4 -Season each side of the pork chops with the salt, the pepper, and the garlic.

Step 5 -Once the oil is hot, cook the pork chops for 1 minute on each side.

Step 6 -Pour the cheese mixture evenly over the pork chops.

Step 7 -Sprinkle the remaining 1/2 of the shredded cheese over the top, then transfer the skillet to the oven.

Step 8 -Bake until the internal temperature of the pork reaches 145 degrees F, about 10-14 minutes.

Step 9 -Garnish with the extra green onions and the extra bacon and serve immediately.
