Ingredients
- 4 (4-ounce) turkey breast cutlets
- kosher salt, to taste
- fresh pepper, to taste
- 1/3 cup seasoned breadcrumbs
- 2 tablespoons parmesan cheese
- 2 large egg whites, beaten
- 1 tablespoon butter
- 1 teaspoon olive oil
- lemon wedges, optional, to taste, for serving
Directions
Step 1 -Season the turkey breasts with the salt and the pepper.
Step 2 -Combine the breadcrumbs and the parmesan in a medium bowl.
Step 3 -Add the egg whites to another medium bowl.
Step 4 -Dip the turkey breasts into the egg whites and then in the breadcrumb mixture, shaking off any excess.
Step 5 -Heat a large nonstick frying pan over medium heat.
Step 6 -Add the butter and the oil.
Step 7 -When the butter is melted, add the cutlets and cook until evenly golden-brown and cooked through at 165 degrees F, about 6 minutes per side.
Step 8 -Serve with the lemon wedges.
