Ingredients
- 1/4 cup balsamic vinegar
- 3 tablespoons extra-virgin olive oil
- 2 tablespoons brown sugar
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon dried thyme
- 1 teaspoon dried rosemary
- kosher salt, to taste
- freshly ground black pepper, to taste
- 4 chicken breasts, boneless and skinless
- parsley, to taste, freshly chopped, for garnish
Directions
Step 1 -In a medium bowl, whisk together the balsamic vinegar, the olive oil, the brown sugar, the garlic, the dried thyme, and the dried rosemary.
Step 2 -Season the marinade generously with the salt and the pepper.
Step 3 -Reserve 1/4 cup of the marinade.
Step 4 -Add the chicken breasts to the bowl and toss to combine.
Step 5 -Let the chicken breasts sit in the marinade for at least 20 minutes and up to overnight.
Step 6 -Preheat the grill to medium-high heat.
Step 7 -Add the chicken breasts and grill, basting them with the marinade, until cooked through at 165 degrees F internally, about 6 minutes per side.
Step 8 -Garnish with the parsley and serve.
