Nothing beats chicken on the grill... except chicken on the grill that doesn't take too long to make! If you want speediness without missing out on scrumptiousness, then this Quick Grilled Chicken is what you need in your life. The chicken is glazed in a tangy, savory, garlic-infused marinade, and then grilled until juicy and tender. Ready in less than 30 minutes, Quick Grilled Chicken will impress in an instant!
Ingredients
- 2 (8-ounce) chicken breasts, boneless and skinless
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 2 tablespoons light soy sauce
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
Directions
Step 1 -Preheat the grill to medium-high heat.
Step 2 -Lightly grease the grill.
Step 3 -Cut three shallow slits across the top of the chicken breasts.
Step 4 -In a small bowl, whisk the olive oil, the soy sauce, the garlic powder, and the black pepper together.
Step 5 -Divide the marinade into two small bowls.
Step 6 -Use a pastry brush to brush one bowl of the marinade on both sides of the chicken breasts.
Step 7 -Grill the chicken breasts, flipping them midway through, until cooked through and no longer pink, about 6 minutes total or 6 minutes per side in a grill pan.
Step 8 -Transfer the chicken pieces to a sheet of foil and use a clean pastry brush to coat them with the remaining, unused marinade.
Step 9 -Cover the chicken pieces with another sheet of foil and allow them to rest for 5-10 minutes.
Step 10 -Slice and serve.
