Simple Oven Chicken Wings are the shortcut to great chicken wings without the splatter of deep-frying. These wings are delicately seasoned and then roasted with butter until golden on the outside and juicy on the inside. No matter what dipping sauce you choose, Simple Oven Chicken Wings will kick your party into high gear... even if it's a party of one!
Ingredients
- 3 tablespoons butter
- 1/3 cup flour
- 2 tablespoons paprika
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon black pepper
- 10 chicken wings, tips removed, thawed if frozen
- fresh parsley, optional, to taste, chopped, for garnish
- dipping sauce, optional, to taste, of your choice, for serving
Directions
Step 1 -Preheat the oven to 425 degrees F.
Step 2 -Line a baking sheet with foil.
Step 3 -Dot the foil with the butter.
Step 4 -In a medium-sized bowl, add the flour, the paprika, the garlic powder, the salt, and the pepper and whisk to combine.
Step 5 -Coat the wings on all sides in the flour mixture and transfer them to the prepared baking sheet. Make sure the butter is evenly spaced out among the wings.
Step 6 -Bake the wings for 30 minutes.
Step 7 -Flip the wings and bake until the wings are crispy and reach an internal temperature of 165 degrees F, about 15 minutes.
Step 8 -Garnish with the parsley and serve with the dipping sauce.
