Instead of adding the hot chocolate mix to the hot milk, it transforms it into a fluffy, creamy, rich whipped cream that is piped right on top of the hot milk. Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup hot chocolate mix
  • 1/4 cup powdered sugar
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream, very cold
  • 1 cup milk
  • chocolate sprinkles, optional, to taste, for garnish
  • marshmallows, optional, to taste, for garnish

Directions

Step 1 -In a large, cold metal bowl, add the hot chocolate mix, the powdered sugar, and the heavy cream and use a handheld electric mixer on high speed to beat until it forms a chocolate whipped cream with stiff peaks.

Step 2 -In a microwave-safe bowl, add the milk and microwave it until hot.

Step 3 -In two serving mugs, evenly add the hot milk.

Step 4 -In a piping bag or a resealable plastic bag with a snipped corner, add the chocolate whipped cream.

Step 5 -Pipe the chocolate whipped cream, in swirls, on top of the hot milk.

Step 6 -Serve garnished with the sprinkles and the marshmallows.
