Beef Kebabs are beautifully marinated chunks of savory beef threaded onto skewers with bright veggies and grilled until juicy and ready for your excited taste buds! You can eat Beef Kebabs one-handed or even have two at a time with no problem (or judgement)! Served with creamy, refreshing tzatziki sauce, these are a breeze to make and so delicious to eat!

Ingredients

  • 2 pounds sirloin strip steak or top sirloin, cut into 1 1/2-inch cubes
  • 3 tablespoons olive oil, divided
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice, freshly squeezed
  • 2 tablespoons Italian seasoning
  • 1 tablespoon garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon salt, plus more, to taste
  • 1 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 1/2 red bell pepper, cut into 1-inch pieces
  • 1/2 red onion, cut into 1-inch pieces
  • 1/2 zucchini, sliced into 1/4-inch pieces
  • tzatziki sauce, optional, to taste, store-bought or homemade, for serving

Directions

Step 1 -In a resealable plastic bag, add the beef cubes, 2 tablespoons of the olive oil, the lemon juice, the Italian seasoning, the minced garlic, 1 teaspoon of the salt, and the black pepper.

Step 2 -Press the air out of the bag and seal the bag tightly.

Step 3 -Massage the marinade around the beef cubes until the meat is well-coated.

Step 4 -Place the sealed bag in the refrigerator and let the beef marinate for at least 30 minutes and up to overnight.

Step 5 -Preheat a grill or grill pan to medium-high heat.

Step 6 -Lightly brush the grill grates with the remaining olive oil.

Step 7 -Alternate threading the marinaded beef cubes, the red bell peppers, the red onions, and the zucchini onto wooden-soaked or metal skewers.

Step 8 -Season the skewers with the extra salt, as needed.

Step 9 -Add the beef skewers to the hot grill and cook, flipping the skewers occasionally, until the beef cubes reach an internal temperature of 145 degrees F for medium doneness, about 6-8 minutes.

Step 10 -Serve the skewers with the tzatziki.
