Ingredients
- 1/2 cup butter, melted
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1 large egg, beaten
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 cup flour
- salt, to taste
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 5 teaspoons sugar
Directions
Step 1 -Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F.
Step 2 -Line an 8x8-inch baking dish with parchment paper. Set it aside.
Step 3 -Combine the melted butter and brown sugar in a medium mixing bowl.
Step 4 -Add the egg and vanilla extract, and stir.
Step 5 -Add the flour and salt, and stir until fully incorporated.
Step 6 -In a separate small mixing bowl, combine the cinnamon and sugar.
Step 7 -Spread the batter evenly into the prepared baking dish.
Step 8 -Sprinkle the cinnamon-sugar mixture over the batter.
Step 9 -Bake until a knife inserted into the center comes out mostly clean, about 22 minutes.
Step 10 -Allow the blondies to cool.
Step 11 -Cut into 16 bars and serve.
