Ingredients

  • 1 (12-count) bag Hawaiian rolls
  • 12 slices mozzarella cheese
  • 12 meatballs, homemade or frozen, cooked if homemade, thawed if frozen
  • 1/2 cup pizza sauce
  • 1/4 cup butter, melted
  • 2 tablespoons parmesan cheese, grated
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried parsley

Directions

Step 1 -Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F.

Step 2 -Grease a 9x13-inch pan with cooking spray.

Step 3 -Slice the Hawaiian rolls in half.

Step 4 -Place the bottom half of each of the Hawaiian rolls in the prepared pan.

Step 5 -Evenly spread 1/2 of the mozzarella slices on top of the bottom halves of the Hawaiian rolls.

Step 6 -Add the cooked meatballs in rows of three on top of the mozzarella layer.

Step 7 -Spread the pizza sauce evenly over the top of the meatballs, about 2 teaspoons for each meatball.

Step 8 -Place the remaining mozzarella cheese slices over the pizza sauce.

Step 9 -Place each of the Hawaiian roll tops over the mozzarella layer.

Step 10 -In a small bowl, combine the butter, the parmesan cheese, the garlic, and the parsley.

Step 11 -Brush the butter sauce over the tops of the sliders.

Step 12 -Cover the sliders with foil and bake until the cheese is melty and the pizza sauce is bubbly, about 25 minutes.

Step 13 -Serve.
