It's lunchtime! If you're craving a little ham-and-cheese combo but looking to make it a bit more exciting, then you've got to give these Simple Ham & Cheese Croissants a try! Ready in less than 15 minutes, you'll soon be sinking your teeth into crispy croissants that are loaded with that beloved melty duo. Your midday meal is about to get a really big (yet easy) upgrade thanks to these Simple Ham & Cheese Croissants!
Ingredients
- 1 (8-ounce) can refrigerated crescent roll dough
- 8 slices deli ham
- 8 slices sharp cheddar cheese
- 1 egg
- 2 tablespoons water
Directions
Step 1 -Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F.
Step 2 -Grease a baking sheet.
Step 3 -Separate the crescent roll dough on the perforated lines into 8 triangles and lay them flat on the prepared baking sheet.
Step 4 -Layer 1 slice of the ham and 1 slice of the cheese on top of each of the dough triangles.
Step 5 -Tightly roll each of the layered dough triangles, starting with the wide ends, to form the crescent shape.
Step 6 -In a small bowl, add the egg and the water and whisk to combine.
Step 7 -Evenly brush each of the filled croissants with the egg wash.
Step 8 -Bake the filled croissants until they are golden-brown, about 9 minutes.
Step 9 -Serve.
