Add some savory, crumbled sausage, melted and gooey mozzarella and cheddar cheeses, and crown those beautiful biscuits with a fluffy egg scramble, and well, then, you have everything you've ever needed to satisfy your hungry crew! Let Tilted Egg Biscuit Bake level-up your morning in a fast, delicious way! We are inclined to say that we are leaning towards this being the best breakfast you've ever had!
Ingredients
- 1 (16.3-ounce) can refrigerated large biscuits
- 1 (8-ounce) package sausage, cooked and crumbled
- 1 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded
- 1 cup cheddar cheese, shredded
- 8 large eggs, beaten
- 1 cup milk
- salt, to taste
- black pepper, to taste
Directions
Step 1 -Preheat the oven to 425 degrees F.
Step 2 -Grease a 9x13-inch baking dish.
Step 3 -Add the biscuits to the bottom of the prepared baking dish, pressing them down firmly to seal any creases or openings.
Step 4 -Evenly sprinkle the cooked sausage over the biscuits.
Step 5 -Sprinkle the mozzarella cheese and the cheddar cheese over the cooked sausage layer.
Step 6 -In a medium bowl, add the eggs, the milk, the salt, and the black pepper and whisk until it is combined.
Step 7 -Pour the egg mixture over the cheese layer.
Step 8 -Bake the biscuit bake until it is set and the middle does not jiggle, about 25-30 minutes.
Step 9 -Transfer the bake to a wire rack and let it stand, about 5 minutes.
Step 10 -Serve.
