Whoa Lasagna is so good, you'll say...you guessed it — "whoa!" Whoa Lasagna takes all those ramen packets cluttering up your pantry and puts them to good use! The noodles are cooked in spaghetti sauce, so the rich flavor pervades each tender bite. Layer upon layer of tangy ricotta and melty mozzarella add all the cheesy goodness you need in your trendy pasta dinner! Whoa! Whoa Lasagna is simple and delicious, which is why it's so mind-blowing!
Ingredients
- 4 (3-ounce) packages ramen noodles, seasoning packets reserved for another use or discarded
- 1 (24-ounce) jar spaghetti sauce
- 1 cup ricotta cheese, optional
- 1 (8-ounce) package mozzarella cheese, shredded
Directions
Step 1 -Preheat the oven to 325 degrees F.
Step 2 -Break the blocks of the ramen noodles in half, creating 8 squares total.
Step 3 -Add about 1/4 cup of the spaghetti sauce to the bottom of a 9-inch square baking dish, spreading it out evenly.
Step 4 -Add 4 of the ramen squares to the bottom of the baking dish.
Step 5 -Evenly dollop about 1/2 of the ricotta cheese by the spoonful on top of the ramen squares in the baking dish.
Step 6 -Cover the ricotta layer in the baking dish evenly with about 1/2 cup of the spaghetti sauce.
Step 7 -Top the spaghetti sauce layer evenly with about 3/4 cup of the mozzarella cheese.
Step 8 -Repeat the layers, using the remaining ramen squares, the remaining ricotta, the remaining spaghetti sauce, and the remaining mozzarella cheese.
Step 9 -Bake until the noodles are tender and the mozzarella cheese is melted, about 45 minutes.
Step 10 -Serve.
